Actions help user to break down script into group of QTP statements. There are three different types of actions:
1. No-reusable actions: Actions that can only be called in a specific test and only once.
2. Re-usable action: Action that can be called multiple times during one or many tests.
3. External Re-usable action: It is reusable action that is stored in a different test.
Actions are used to divide your tests into logical parts.
There are 3 different types of actions:
Non-reusable Action – This action can be called only in test where it is stored and called only once that test.
Reusable Action: An action can be called multiple times test where it is stored and can be called to other test case as external action.
External Action: This action can be called in other test in read only mode in calling test but can choose as local action for editable mode.
