Use command
mkdir to create a new directory
EX: use “mkdir Loundon” to create Loundon directory
always check if directory has been created by using “Ls -al”.
The new directory name shall display in blue.

mkdir command is used to create new directory.
For example:
mkdir Singh will create a directory named Singh

so to create directory for example job just type
mkdir job
