    We use the Quality Center in IT industry because of the following reasons:
    1-It is a Test management tool, where we can manage and organize all the details at one place like a one stop shop for all testing related tasks.
    2- It can be attached to the email system and defect can be supplied to the people concerned like Developers, test lead, persons in customer support.
    3- Can be integrated with automation tools like QTP,LR.
    4- Graphs & Reports can be generated to analyze the details and can submit to Managers,lead etc,..

    We use the Quality Center because of the following reasons:

    We use QC because it ease the testing management system and flow in the following way:
    1. Possible to design/attache test plan with requirement specification and distribute tasks to developers and testers

    2. can create test cases and manage the execution

    3. report defects by email to manager of developer as needed

    4. trace test cases with requirement coverage
    5. generate graph or data based summery.
